My daughter is a wonderful gift to me.
She was sent from Heaven to teach me to see
the many things that a daughter can be.
When she was little she tugged at my heart,
and showed me that the special love
between a mother daughter would never depart.
As she grows older, we’ve had a few of life’s trials
But they made us stronger and there’s no denial.
She has been my strength to be who I am,
and has also helped me to be gentle as a lamb.
She has given me the courage to be the best I could be.
 I thank God daily for sending her to me.
This part of me has taught me so much.
To laugh and love and enjoy the touch of
a hug from my daughter that I love so much.
