The Stars

The twinkling stars shine so pretty and bright,
and spread a bed of shining lights.
Oh my, oh my, what a wonderful sight.
Sometimes the stars shoot across the sky
that we can see in the twinkle of an eye,
to let us make a wish for something worthwhile,
and give us a reason for hope and a smile.
It is said if you make a wish upon a shooting star,
your wish will come true whoever you are.
So keep your eyes on the sky at night,
and the twinkling stars will be your delight.
